Motorola recently showed off the Moto 360 smart watch, which will be a smart device with quite high-end materials-high-end may also be reflected in the surface. According to foreign media G for Games, the surface of the Moto 360 screen may be made of sapphire glass. In addition, the screen itself is an OLED panel, and the device supports electromagnetic induction wireless charging.
This rumor should be in line with Motorola's positioning of MOTO 360 high-end materials, and sapphire glass is often used on the surface of watches, which may also become an important advantage item to distinguish Moto 360 from other smart watch devices. Other smart watches on the market usually use Corning's Gorilla Glass.
As for the speculation of wireless charging, it mainly comes from Motorola's confirmation that the Moto 360 will not provide a charging USB port. Jim Wicks, a Motorola executive in charge of the Moto 360, was only to say that the company was working on a "secret" method of charging the devices. The OLED display is also widely used on the smartphone screen, and the OLED screen is also more power-saving than the black display-based system. Wicks did not disclose more details, but said that power management should be a priority for this product.
